Job Overview
D. Floyd Construction is seeking General Labourer’s. This position will include year-round work, and an opportunity to make an impact on some of Calgary’s most impactful projects!
Key Responsibilities
- Dig holes for fence installation
- Carrying materials from vehicle to work location
- Assist with concrete pouring
- Assist with fence installation
Experience & Skills
- Prior experience in fencing is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willing to work year-round, in all conditions
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
- Follow company safety protocols on all sites
Pay and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including 90% employer-paid coverage, available after 3 months

Schedule:
- 8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:00 – 4:30)
- Overtime pay available for additional hours worked
- Weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of the work
- 12 months per year – we work throughout winter!
