With over 35 years experience in the building industry, Dan Floyd began his career as a project manager and problem solver. His expertise enables D. Floyd Construction to deliver reliable, timely service to its customers. From ground-level work to overseeing projects from inception to completion, Dan’s hands-on experience has leveraged D. Floyd Construction into a leader in entry feature installations, and large-scale fencing solution. D. Floyd Construction is proud to serve a number of clients and Calgarians each year.
As the company has expanded, Dan has overseen the growth of the service vehicle fleet and the addition and training of staff. This allows D. Floyd Construction to tackle a broader range of projects for a variety of end users.
Dan remains personally involved in every project, and works closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure exceptional results for his customers.
Pat joined D. Floyd Construction shortly after the company’s founding and has worked diligently with Dan Floyd to build the company into the premier perimeter development fencing company in the marketplace today.
With over 35 years of experience, Pat brings a wealth of expertise in all aspects of project management, including logistics, planning and project pricing. His extensive knowledge has been invaluable in supporting an ever-growing list of valued customers. By working closely with engineering, design specialists, and clients, Pat provides a comprehensive view of the market, which helps keep D. Floyd Construction at the forefront of the field with specialized construction services.
Pat’s experience spans both commercial and residential projects, assuring customers that they benefit from a strong foundation of expertise. Jeremy has devoted 18 years to his role as a Field Superintendent at D. Floyd Construction, where he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in the construction industry. Jeremy excels in overseeing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring that every phase meets rigorous quality, safety, and budgetary standards. His ability to coordinate diverse teams and manage intricate schedules has earned him a reputation for delivering projects on time and within scope. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from McMaster University, Ricky Shen gained 5 years of accounting experience before joining D. Floyd Construction in 2022. Ricky specializes in financial management and operational efficiency, with expertise in payroll, accounts management, and financial reporting, ensuring the company’s financial systems run smoothly and accurately.
Committed to supporting the company’s growth, Ricky works closely with the management team and trade partners to maintain seamless financial operations. His attention to detail and dedication to excellence align with D. Floyd Construction’s values of quality and reliability in every project.
With over 12 years of experience, Lorenzo LoNigro plays a vital role in our team as a supervisor and safety representative. He specializes in chain link and ornamental fencing and safety railings for multi-family structures, combining technical expertise with a commitment to quality and safety. Lorenzo leads crews on-site, ensures compliance with safety standards, and collaborates with clients to confirm project details. His leadership and attention to detail are essential to the success of every project.
Jan is a seasoned Safety Supervisor and ACSA COR Auditor with extensive experience in the fence industry across Western Canada.
He has been an accredited Safety Auditor and Advisor for many years, contributing significantly to workplace safety standards. At D. Floyd Construction, Jan collaborates closely with the management team to ensure compliance with legislated safety policies and provincial regulations, fostering a secure and well-regulated work environment.
After earning his Bachelor of Health and Physical Education degree with a major in Sport and Recreation Management from Mount Royal University, Brandon gained valuable experience working for a variety of sport organizations in the Calgary area. In 2024, Brandon finally joined his Dad and began working for his company, D. Floyd Construction as Project Coordinator. In this role, Brandon handles a range of tasks including locates, force account billing, or providing support wherever needed by his father, Dan. Brandon’s excellent time management skills, along with his attention to detail ensure that every job is set up for success.
