Job Overview
Floyd Construction is seeking skid steer operators. This position will include year-round work, and an opportunity to make an impact on some of Calgary’s most impactful projects!
Key Responsibilities
- Drilling and auguring holes for fence installation
- Work closely with team members to achieve organizational goals
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, and organized job site
- Assist with other duties as required
Experience & Skills
- Prior experience in skid steer operator – min. 3 years required.
- Previous experience in driving truck and trailer – min. 3 years required.
- Drilling and Auguring holes – 1 year experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
- Follow company safety protocols on all sites
- Driver’s license is required
Pay and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $22.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday (8:00-4:30)
- Weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of the work
- 12 months per year
